Incase you weren’t aware, I am a interior addict.

Last week whilst I was in Sydney for MBFWA staying with family, my interior brain started churning ideas again – yes the shopping in Sydney is amazing! I wish we had the same amount of good homewares shops! but also my relatives have AMAZING taste when it comes to interior design.

One of our houses (sounds weird to say!) is now tenant free and my parents want to redo the kitchen (as they renovated the house to suit an office originally… now it’s going to become a house again!) All you Aussies would probably be familiar with The Block, but for my international readers, The Block is a television show in Aus featuring couples from around the country each renovating a complete house in a very short amount of time! Although its been a little while since the finale, I can’t seem to get Josh and Jenna’s Kitchen!

I am obsessed with the Calcutta marble bench top in a soft honed finish by Gitani Stone at Freedom Kitchens and that gorgeous vertical garden care of City Forest

I love the feel of their kitchen and would love to have something like this! I would gladly put money towards the kitchen for it to look like this!

We’ve hit the home stretch! After a short/long week (short because of Easter Monday, long because of… well work) It is finally Friday night! Flights are booked, seats are reserved and outfits are.. not.. sorted (must get to that!) Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia is upon us! Only 3 sleeps!

To really inspire you all, I thought I’d post a little inspirational/street style/ pretty images to get your hearts a flutter! Tomorrow my prep for MBFWA continues! I have been thinking it’s about time I go back to the hairdresser but unfortunately for me, her daughter is getting married and she is taking 2 weeks off! In runs my gorgeous best friend from high school who has nearly completed her apprenticeship.. winning! Now you all may remember that I have a ‘Lara Bingle’ styled hair do – just a brunette style ;) (Think Christine Centenera meets Lara Bingle!) It’s time to crank that up a notch and really go for the blunt cut! Inspo piccies are below… we are going for a Lara Bingle/ Jessica Stein – Tuula Vintage style but just over the shoulders (see Lara’s second image)

Designed by his sister, Elana Rosa, featuring a gorgeous photograph by New York photographer, Ben Watts; Health Ledger‘s life has now been officially commemorated in this high quality, limited edition cotton t-shirt; the only product to be approved by the trustees of his estate and his family.

Costing $105 AUD, the unisex t-shirt’s proceeds from all sales will benefit:

Channel 7 Australia Telethon Trust, The Australian’s In Film Organisation and The Heath Ledger Scholarship.

Ledger was a truly gifted Australian actor who’s life was tragically cut short five years ago as the result of a drug overdose.

I for one LOVE watching the Dark Knight – seriously one of the most moving and chilling movies he has ever stared in, and who could forget 10 Things I Hate About You ?!

Happy 1st Birthday Wilddarts!

This week marked the first anniversary of Wilddarts! How the last year as flown by!

Sometimes we just need some inspiration to get us started.

Last week I came across ‘health_project‘ on instagram and have been inspired to get back into my gym regime and tighten up my clean eating!

The health_project is run by a young Australian girl living in Perth, who captures her everyday eats and posts interesting vegan and raw food recipes to inspire others to lead a more clean eating lifestyle.

Recipes such as green smoothies (shown above), Kiwi juice (shown above), raw chocolate ice-cream, raw banana split, raw apple crumble, raw zucchini and cucumber pesto pasta, raw pad thai, raw lasagne (shown above) and raw spaghetti bolognese (shown above) are some of the mouthwatering dishes she shares with her following.

Along with her successful instagram account, she also maintains the tumblr, k-oosh, which showcases inspiration not only for health and fitness but also fashion, interiors etc

In the coming weeks I will be showcasing some of the recipes on Health_project along with some of my very own, to hopefully kick start and motivate my readers to make healthier (and often yummier!) choices when it comes to food!
