Whilst researching competitors for a jewellery clients up and coming advertising campaign early this year,  I came across the Sydney based jeweller – Fairfax and Roberts and their stunning Martin Collection.

Designed by Internationally acclaimed jewellery designer, Thierry Martin, who has been commissioned by the worlds most prestigious jewellery and fashion houses (Harry Winston, Chanel and Boucheron) The Martin Collection was inspired by the sweeping curves and lineal symmetry of the Fairfax and Roberts Martin Place boutique. Martin has amazingly recreated the decorative mouldings and art-deco exterior into very wearable and timeless rings, earrings, pendants and bracelets – If only I had the 16 grand lying around to purchase!

These rings would make a very unique engagement ring or beautiful cocktail ring for that special occasion! Absolutely beautiful!

On the weekend the beautiful and effortlessly chic Margherita Missoni married her long time love, Eugenio Amos in a romantic church in Brunello, Italy (Near Varese)

Adorned in a stunning embroidered off the shoulder gown created by Giambattista Valli (with lots of help from Margherita herself!) who was present for the occasion.

The reception was very Missoni! Breakfast was served in a very elegant setting amongst the trees in the century old park of Angela Missoni’s house on large round tables surrounded by cushions for the guests to sit.

What a magical looking wedding!! The theme and scenery, the reception.. all lovely, such a down-to-earth event that shows style and taste.

The dress… what an amazing collaboration! The embroidery and ruffles and antique colour (what looks like from the images) It looks worldly and enchanting and pure. I am in love!

Will need to pop this up on my inspiration board asap!

Margherita’s tiara and braided hair (oh yes!!!) looks beautiful and ties in with the dress amazingly! Her makeup always natural and beautiful accompnied with – what looks to be – pearl earrings.

Definitely one of my favourite moments of the year.. she looks beautiful and happy!

What do you think of Margherita Missoni and Eugenio Amos’ wedding?!

Lover the Label goes bridal with their White Magick collection. Designers Susien Chong and Nic Briand decided on the collection after receiving many requests for bridal takes on their signiture designs.

“Over the years we have been contacted by customers and heard stories of women desperate to find styles from our archive, be it for their wedding day or a particularly special occasion. Customers have resorted to eBay and more recently fan pages on Facebook in an attempt snare pieces.”

The collection embraces Lovers much loved archived styles and their signature lace in classic white and ivory tones. Including the finale dress from last year’s 10th anniversary show and the spring/summer 2005 plunging V dress wore by Miranda Kerr, ‘Black Magick’.

The collection will be exclusively sold at their boutique in The Strand Arcade but could be sold online and in other retail outlets in the future.

There is quite diversity in this collection, many different styles to choose from. Personally, I would like a more full length dress on my wedding day! But I love lace, its very feminine, pretty and light.. exactly what I would want! But that isn’t for everyone! Looks 2 and 3 are my favourites, but I also love look 4.
