The gorgeous work of Lina Scheynius
Lina is one of my favourite photographers. I love the feeling evoked by the photographs she takes, the soft feel, the mystery and life within. Her work is intimate, strong yet subtle.. they awaken my soul and make me want to document my whole life through film photography (although I’m not too sure I’d have the time to develop it all!)
“I am not super fussed about what camera I use. The only thing I don’t enjoy is digital photography.”
Her ‘diary’ is filled with life and love. They are simply gorgeous!
Lina was born in Vänersborg, Sweden and grew up in Trollhättan. She moved out of home when she was 16 and after that, spent most of her time in London (her current base) and Paris.
“I think I work best when I keep moving around.”
“I started on my 10th birthday, in my home, taking pictures of the cake and my feet and my best friend sitting on the toilet. Pretty much the same thing I do now.”
