Pre-Fall 2013 Collections – Wilddarts Edit

// 3.1 Phillip Lim - So in love with this pre fall collection by Phillip Lim! I love the really laid back and casual feel of the collection, however still being polished and neat – very day casual! There are so many wearable pieces in this collection and the styling is amazing (awesome layering) I am quite into the side zips and I am obsessed with that cream coat and all the navy!
// Acne - My two favourite looks from the Acne presentation/lookbook were the brown fur jacket and the gorgeous floral printed (looks to be silk) dress. Acne make some really nice staple pieces for your wardrobe, slightly exaggerated silhouettes and crisp colour and fabric.
// Proenza Schouler - Love the lookbook for Porenza Schouler this season! My favourite pieces would have to be the boxy white and black leather jackets, the black and white graphic print of the tailored pants and the skirt with double slits, and last but not least the dreamy shiny blue coat, skirt and jacket. In love! if only I had the money!!
// Bottega Veneta - The colour palette and simplicity of the Bottega Veneta collection this season really stood out when I first saw the lookbook. Minimalistic, lovely tailoring and gorgeous looking materials. My three favourite looks were the kimono looking sleeve sashed coat, the gorgeous ruffled dress and the tailored black jacket.
// Givenchy - Again, Givenchy.. you little stunner! LOVE the lookbook shoot – actually really enjoyed the people in the background and how the film went from daylight to evening. Love the silhouettes and the colour palette surprisingly.. (not a massive fan of tan or brown) my favourite looks being the cow print pants, geometric shapes and sleek lines, the one shoulder dresses with the ruffles, the peplum tops and leather and fur of course.
// Diane Von Furstenberg - Not my favourite collection by DVF but I did enjoy the coats, the colour blocked navy and ox blood coat and the tweed looking coat with the punch of lime.
// Celine - Celine oh how I love thee! Supersizing jackets (like they do) amaze! leather and fur! Kinda what Autumn Winter is all about, no? I love the pleating and the navy shirt that was paired with the mid calf leather skirt. Also, similar to DVF there was another reference to the colour blocked coat, this one being navy and forest green.
// Chloe - Another one of my favourite designers didn’t disappoint me for their pre-fall lookbook. Loves the setting and of course the garments. Theres something about Autumn Winter that makes me obsessed with coats, however I never actually go out and buy them? After seeing some collections I might have to invest in some!! I really enjoyed the textured coats with panelled leather, the confetti tweed jacket, the printed pants, the dusty pink leather skirts and the knitted/crochet dresses.
// Lanvin - Another really strong lookbook shoot! I am seriously obsessed! However, there was a lot of animal print in this collection (a bit too much for my liking!) Again, gorgeous coats, intricate embroidery detailing with beads, leather gloves, fur, colour blocking coats (get on it!) and leather skirts. Lanvin always exudes sophistication and class
// Prabal Gurung - Horray! Some colour! Prabal Gurung loves some print and the prints in this collection were gorgeous! My favourite pieces include the turquoise and pink multicolour Nepal-ish pattern in his coats and dress, the gorgeous floral prints with some sheer detailing and I also love the shoes!

And all the coats!!! Jeez I really want all the coats!
